Service Agreement

By scheduling services with Spencer’s Lawn Care, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms of Service. Our lawn care services are offered on a recurring basis unless specified otherwise. We do not require lengthy contracts, providing you with the flexibility to cancel at any time. Additionally, our software is designed to accommodate various home services, including the ability to confirm appointments. However, please note that appointment confirmations are not necessary at Spencer’s Lawn Care, as we operate based on a recurring schedule rather than confirmations.

Question 2

Payment Policy

Accepted Answer

To ensure continuity in our service schedule, all customers are required to maintain a valid payment method on file. Payments will be processed automatically upon completion of services. Please be advised that failure to keep an active payment method may lead to suspension or termination of services.

Question 3

Skipping Service & Cancellation

Accepted Answer

If you choose to skip a scheduled service for any reason, please be advised that a $25 skip fee will be applied to your account. This fee compensates for the lost scheduling time and helps maintain route efficiency.

Question 4

Weather Delays & Rescheduling

Accepted Answer

In the event of inclement weather, we will strive to reschedule your service at the earliest opportunity once conditions permit. Please note that severe weather delays do not exempt customers from maintaining an active payment method on file or from adhering to our cancellation policy.

Question 5

Property Access

Accepted Answer

Customers are responsible for ensuring that gates are unlocked and that pets are secured on scheduled service days. In the event that we are unable to access your property due to locked gates, pets, or other obstructions, a $25 skip fee will be applied.

Question 6

Liability

Accepted Answer

Spencer’s Lawn Care is not responsible for damages to underground utilities, irrigation systems, or other hidden obstacles that are not clearly marked. We strive to perform all services with the utmost care and professionalism.

Question 7

Winter Services

Accepted Answer

Winter services are designed to maintain the overall appearance and health of the property during the off-season and reduce the need for larger seasonal cleanups.

Standard winter services may include, but are not limited to:

Removal of remaining leaves
Bed weeding
Shrub and ornamental trimming
Trimming of low-hanging branches and removal of sticks or debris
Periodic mowing as needed (typically monthly)

Winter services are provided on a monthly minimum frequency, unless otherwise specified. Bi-weekly service may be available upon request and at adjusted pricing.

Winter services are maintenance-focused, not restorative. Properties requiring heavy cleanup, excessive debris removal, or overgrown restoration work may require additional services or adjusted pricing.

Question 8

Winter Snow & Ice Prep

Accepted Answer

Snow and ice prep services are weather-dependent and are intended to help reduce hazards during winter conditions. Services may include pre-treatment or treatment of designated areas using ice melt or similar materials.

Please note:

Snow & ice prep does not guarantee coverage for every weather event
Services are performed as conditions allow and based on forecasted needs
Snow and ice services are preventative in nature, not emergency response services

Unless explicitly included in an annual plan, snow and ice services may be billed per application or as outlined in the customer’s service agreement.

Question 9

Annual Plans & Seasonal Services

Accepted Answer

-Customers enrolled in an annual service plan receive bundled services based on their selected package. Seasonal services, including winter services and snow & ice preparation, are provided according to the plan details and prevailing conditions.

-Services outside the defined scope of the plan, including excessive debris removal, storm cleanup, or restoration-level work, may incur additional charges and will be quoted separately.

-Annual plans are billed in equal monthly payments for customer convenience. In the event of cancellation prior to the end of the term, services already rendered will be reconciled at standard a la carte pricing. Any remaining balance will be due at the time of cancellation.
